Bamboo Primary SATs is designed to be simple and easy to use. All progress is saved automatically on your device.
What subjects does the app cover?
The app covers all three core SATs subjects: SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar), Maths, and Reading. Each subject has multiple topics across Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty levels.
What is included in the free version?
The free version includes one topic per subject at Easy difficulty: Spelling (SPaG), Number & Place Value (Maths), and Fiction (Reading). This gives you a full taste of the app before purchasing.
What does the one-time purchase unlock?
Purchasing Full Access unlocks every topic across all three subjects at all difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, and Hard), giving you access to 500+ practice questions. It is a one-time purchase — no subscription required.
I already purchased the app but lost access. How do I restore it?
Open the app and tap any locked topic to go to the Upgrade screen. At the bottom of that screen, tap Restore Previous Purchase. Your purchase will be restored automatically using your Apple ID at no extra charge.
My progress has disappeared. What should I do?
Progress is stored locally on your device. If you have deleted and reinstalled the app, your progress will have been reset. Unfortunately, local progress cannot be recovered after uninstallation. Your purchase, however, can always be restored using the Restore button.
How do I reset my progress?
Open the app and go to the Progress tab. Scroll to the bottom and tap Reset All Progress. You will be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.
Is the app suitable for Year 6 students?
Yes. Bamboo Primary SATs is specifically designed for Year 6 pupils (ages 10-11) preparing for their Key Stage 2 SATs exams. The questions are aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
Does the app require an internet connection?
The app works fully offline once downloaded. An internet connection is only needed to complete a purchase or restore a previous purchase.
Is my child's data safe?
Absolutely. The app does not collect, store, or share any personal information. All data stays on the device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
